	History In 1949, Basil Bickerton purchased a small insurance office which was operated by Donald Brown at that time. The office was run from Basil’s residence in the beginning years. In 1984, Webb Insurance Limited was purchased and Bickerton Brokers expands into Kingston and area with a branch office. In 1990, Lachapelle Insurance office was purchased and their clients were welcomed into Bickerton Brokers. In 1992, Shea Insurance office was purchased and their clients were welcomed into Bickerton Brokers.
